INTER-ENA-CUBES

Modular structure, 1970, Chromium-plated steel modules, 80 x 80 x 12.5 cm. Private collection

The inter-ena-cube is a plastic object of 1965, a continuation of the research of the 1964 Euro-chrome-spatial composers, which gives the spectator an equal degree of co-responsibility in the plastic life of the work, through manual activation. The spectator can in fact perform all the possible variations of the plastic object, also using the back of the inter-cubes, in order to personally graduate more or less slow spatial modes, so as to distribute as a continuum the light on the circular forms-dividers in relation to his own need for time-reading”.

Paolo Scheggi, 1967
