"Oplà-azione-lettura-teatro" (Oplà-action-reading-theatre) is an urban action conceived by Paolo Scheggi, which took place as a happening in Via Manzoni in Milan and in the historic centre of Florence, where letters, carried by actors, went out from the Galleria Flori into the city, blocking traffic.

“The issue of the art/city relationship is not about filling ‘a space’ but rather filling ‘a time’, time as show time… abandoning the illusion and entering reality, transforming the virtual space into real space, shifting real space into visible, liveable time, rejecting contemplation in favour of action, the static in favour of the dynamic. And again. The need to transform words, gestures, sound and movement into total-city time”
