Essay in Art and Public Space

The essay The city as a time of performance. Re-enactment and Persistence in the Languages of Contemporaneity: Paolo Scheggi in Public Space., authored by Ilaria Bignotti, scientific curator of the Paolo Scheggi Association, will be published in the volume Art and Public Space published by Silvana, a project edited by the General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture and the School of Cultural Heritage and Activities Foundation.
A research on artistic practices and design strategies in public spaces, on participatory processes, public policies of regeneration of urban spaces and territories, on patrons, mediators and communities, on the role of conservation of artworks in public space and on the temporality of the public artwork.
